Registration Fee Update:
Anyone who registers on the day of the show can get $10 off the normal $35 entry fee by bringing 4 canned goods to be donated to Variety - The Children's Charity.
 
Frequently Asked Questions
1. Can we register before the show?
Yes. We will be putting a pre-registration form on this web site in the next few days for pre-registration. Just click on "Registration", fill in the information, and pay with a credit card or Paypal.
2. If I belong to a club, can the club register as a group?
Yes. On the registration page, you can provide your club name and the number of cars you would like to register on its behalf and pay for all of the cars you want to register.
3. Do I have to live in the 5-state area to register my car for the show?
No. Anyone with a car in the entire country is invited to be a contestant in the show.
4. If I own a business, can I donate products/services for the door prizes?
Yes. We will be putting a sponsor/vendor form on this web site in the next few days for sponsors. Just click on "Sponsors", fill in the information, and we will contact you.
5. Will it cost anything to come to the show as a spectator?
Please visit the pricing page for more information.
6. How do I know when you will complete the forms for registration, sponsorship, or gate passes?
Just click on "Contact Us" and fill in the information. Check "Send me updates" and be sure that your email address is correct. We will email update peridodically as more information becomes available.
7. Are trucks or motorcycles allowed to register?
Yes. There are classes for all years, makes, and models of cars, trucks, and motorcycles.
8. What is the difference a vendor and a sponsor?
A vendor will have a booth at the show, while a sponsor may not have a booth but has provided products/services to be given as door prizes or has agreed to fund certain car show functions, eg food concession, door prizes, car checkin, litter patrol, etc..
9. I don't have internet access. Are there any other ways to get discounts?
Yes. There are ? ways to get a discount other than advance purchase from the web site.
1. Simply bring a sales receipt from Pap Boys dated between June 1, 2009 and August 14, 2009 for gate passes at the same discount prices listed on the pricing page.
2. Bring 2 canned goods to be donated to the North Texas Food Bank.
10. Will any of the proceeds from the show be donated to a charity?
Yes. All canned goods and non-perishable food items will be donated to North Texas Food Bank and a portion will be donated to both the Living Through Faith Foundation and the Lincoln Tech Lunch Program. All charitable contributions will go back into the local economy as a "thank you" gesture for the community supporting this event.
11. Can I bring my own food and drinks, or do I have to buy them at the show?
You may bring your own, but coolers will be inspected at the gate. If any glass containers are found, you will be asked to leave them in your car or they will be confiscated at the gate. One of our main goals is the minimize the risk of injury and to provide the safest environment possible to everyone inside the gates.
12. Will there be food and drink available at the show?
Yes, we will have several food and beverage vendors onsite during the show.
13. Will beer be available?
No, there will be no vendors selling any type of alcoholic beverages at this event,but you may bring your own. We will have security patrols at the event and if anyone is found to be intoxicated, they will be escorted to the gate and asked to leave. In this case, there will be no refund of any sort.
14. I'll be out of town during this event, but I'd like to make a charitable contribution. How would I do that?
Simply "contact us" and we will get in touch to make the arrangements.
15. I don't have an email address. How can I get updates about the event?
You can get updates either by checking the web site periodically over the coming weeks, or send us several self-addressed, stamped envelopes and we will send you updates via snail mail.
